Oven Roasted Asparagus

  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 1 or 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper


  • Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
  • Snap tough ends off of each stalk of asparagus
  • Wash off the asparagus
  • Lay out on a baking sheet that is lined with parchment paper
  • Drizzle olive oil over the asparagus, but don't drown it
  • Sprinkle freshly ground salt and pepper over the stalks
  • Bake in the oven for about 12-15 minutes, the asparagus should still be a little crunchy and not soggy
