If I am counting correctly, this Tomato Cilantro Radish salad may be the third recipe that I’ve added to my website that was directly inspired by a menu offering at my local TacoDeli spot in Houston, with my guacamole and pozole recipes rounding out the trio.
And I haven’t even seen this dish! It was reported back to me by my wife that they had a new side salad offering that was simply a cilantro salad with tomatoes, radishes and lime juice. Probably some salt.
I find it hard to believe that TacoDeli’s salad has only five ingredients total, but I went ahead and tried it anyway, just to see if I could get the proportions correct.
Of course, with only five ingredients and zero cooking time, this salad comes together incredibly quickly. And seems to last just as long. Easy come, easy go.
I’m sure I will make it to TacoDeli soon enough, and will make it a point to order this salad to “officially” determine whether or not there are a few other ingredients sneaking in. But until that time, we are sticking with this 5 ingredient salad as a super light and refreshing summer salad.
I’ll go ahead and put together a recipe box for this dish, because that is what the internet over-lords demand, but there really isn’t anything to it. Get your 5 ingredients together, cut and dice, and mix them all up, and boom, you have your Tomato Cilantro Radish salad all done!

And even though there isn’t much to this recipe, I know a few people are going to be curious about the nutritional panel, so here it is…
This looks really tasty and delicious and I really love tomatoes. So, this recipe is going to be the best ever salad dish. And I really appreciate your efforts in making this amazing recipe.
