I am a member of the Everywhere Society and Everywhere Agency has provided me with compensation for attending a cooking demonstration at Macy’s. Derby Fever is in full swing here in Louisville, with the big race only days away now. And is customary, all sorts of local companies are jumping on the bandwagon and having a celebration of one sort or another. And I’m pleased to say that our local Macy’s is hosting their annual Culinary Council Derby Demo.
I don’t know if that is what they actually call it, but their Culinary Council brings in a famous chef, and it’s free to the public, just show up and have a great time. I went with my kids two years ago when Anthony Lamas and Cat Cora were the chefs, and we had a great time!
This year’s event will be in just a day or two, Wednesday, April 30th at 6:30, I hope to see you there! For a wrap up of the event, please keep an eye out for a new post at www.ThoughtfulCooking.com.
With two bedrooms upstairs and several more rooms downstairs, this house is much larger than it appears. New flooring throughout the house in addition to a new roof and paint in the last few years mean this property is ready for a new owner to move right in!
